Tasks and Responsibilities:

Work independently and in small teams as a software specialist on the development of advanced information systems, websites, communities, and/or mashups. There are also opportunities to develop mobile applications (usually in Flutter for iOS and Android).

  • Translate client requests into effective and efficient functionality.
  • Collaborate on problem-solving.
  • Develop custom internet applications, websites, and apps.
  • Take responsibility for your own projects.
  • Communicate with clients for problem-solving and the development of new functionalities.

Peercode requires knowledge of and experience with:

  • MySQL and database design.
  • Experience with PHP/JavaScript/Docker.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS/JSON.
  • Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with jQuery, Bootstrap, and/or Vue is a plus.
  • Experience with iOS or Android development is a plus.

You have:

  • HBO or WO education with a substantial ICT component.
  • At least 1 year of experience with a server-side web programming language.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming.
  • Proactive with ideas and problem-solving approaches.
  • Social and good communication skills.
  • Driven, professional, and customer-oriented.

Location:

Geldermalsen, a village on the Linge, is located between ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Utrecht, with an excellent train connection. You work at the office in Geldermalsen, and if preferred, you can work 2 or 3 days from home.

With over 20 years of experience, Peercode currently consists of a team of 21, including 10 colleagues as software developers, 2 as UX designers, 3 as system administrators, and 4 as Medical Device and Quality specialists.

  • Development of medical and health programs (e.g., IMID Monitor, COPD app, Firefighter Coach).
  • Online health and well-being risk assessments.
  • Development of custom internet applications, websites, and apps.
  • Peercode’s clients range from startups to multinational companies, including MSD, Erasmus MC, AMC, KLM Health Services, Sanofi Genzyme, Sensoterra, Arbo Unie, UWV, Police, Fire Department, and Pfizer.
