Kicking off 2026 with record-breaking energy: first speakers announced for Webdevcon
Best wishes to the Webdevcon community
First of all, we wish the entire Webdevcon community a happy, healthy, and inspiring new year. As we move into 2026, one thing is clear: the web development community continues to grow, evolve, and actively share knowledge.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy. Since December 19, our team has been fully immersed in reviewing the Call for Papers for Webdevcon 2026. And once again, the response exceeded expectations, we received a record number of submissions: 1,144 submissions.
A record-breaking Call for Papers for Webdevcon
The high number of submissions for Webdevcon 2026 shows just how engaged and passionate the web development community is. From frontend to backend, from architecture to security, and from experienced speakers to first-time presenters, developers from all backgrounds stepped forward to share their expertise. At Webdevcon, we believe that strong ideas matter more than titles. Whether you’re a seasoned conference speaker or presenting for the first time, Webdevcon offers a welcoming stage for developers who want to inspire, educate, and challenge the community.
